Yonghwasa
Summary
Yonghwasa is comprised with eight buildings of Bogwawngjeon, Yonghwajeon, Jeongmukdang Halls, Haewollu Pavilion, Tamjindang Halls, Chilseongjeon and two buildings of Myeongbujeon and Yosa including a shrine of 145 pyong floor area and amongst these, Bogwawngjeon is appointed as one of the national tangible culture assets. In the temple, it features Beomnyuntap and a sari pagoda of monk Hobong and Buddhist priests' stone dwelling braced by four lion-designed foundations. The stone enshrines seven of Jinsin Sari and the Ancient Ashoka structure is a style rarely seen in Korea.
